Announcement - Seeking Assistant to the Executive Director

The California Council for the Social Studies is seeking a highly qualified person, with substantial secretarial/administrative experience in educational settings and a commitment to the mission of our organization, to serve as assistant to the Executive Director through June of 2018 (with the possibility to extend beyond). The Assistant will work closely with the ED, at comparable compensation, reflecting the collegial and collaborative nature of the organization. The position is part-time, with flexible working hours, and an expansion to full-time work (and overtime opportunities) during the time before and immediately after our annual conference in late March of 2018.
